The Snetterton Renewable Energy Plant is a 44.2MW straw fire power station based in Norfolk.

The project was developed through a Joint Venture between Eco2 and Iceni Energy Limited.  In 2014 the project was sold to a joint venture BWSC PCL – collaboration between Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) and PensionDanmark in a £160m deal.

BWSC will be in charge of constructing, operating and maintaining the plant, which is expected to be operational by Spring 2017.

Eco2 has a Management Service Agreement in place with the new owners and will be managing the fuel supply and logistics for the Plant.
