Purpose of Role

Provide critical support to the Transport Manager to ensure logistic operations of fuel from stack sites into the plant and strategic storage sites are coordinated in such a fashion as to meet the demand of the Plant and are in compliance with section 106 of the planning obligation.

Tasks & Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the effective route planning of biomass deliveries from stacks sites into the plant in accordance with section 106 of the planning obligation.

Responsible for the effective allocation of vehicles.

Responsible for the dissemination of health and safety issues related to fuel transport, including the co-ordination and recording of driver inductions required for operations at the power station and strategic storage sites.

Be the first point of contact for all hauliers engaging with the Plant and its strategic storage sites.

Deal with any haulier queries in a professional, timely and productive manner.

Audit historic data on Eco2’s management system (CIFT) to ensure it is accurate and flag any inaccuracies or anomalies to the Plant Administrator.

Responsible for booking in and out of driver ticket books.

Responsible for logging the rejected bale count.

Participate in weekly fuels meeting providing pivotal support to the wider fuels team on any issues relating to the haulage operations for the Plant.
